The space is set up keeping the principles of freedom of movement and manipulation of objects in mind, providing visual, tactile and auditory stimulation but a calm and balanced environment which is not overstimulating.
Children develop their fine and gross motor skills, sensory perception, enjoy music and take their first steps both in socialisation and independence as well as on their feet :)
At the same time parents are able to explore how to be their child's teacher, integrate Montessori philosophy into the home environment and learn about activities and toys which are age appropriate.
We are also there to answer any questions you may have about the stages of development your child is approaching, talk about weaning, potty training, aiding your child to sleep and anything else that is on your mind.
It is a great space to share experiences with other parents going through the same journey as yourself and to make new friends.
There are a maximum of 5 children per class
Wednesday 9:30 - 10:30 & 11:00 - 12:00

A Nido* group is a place for parents and children from 3 months to walking to explore and enjoy together.
Montessori groups all around the world are referred to as the nest as they provide infants with a cosy, quiet and safe place in which they can spend time together with an adult to whom they are close.
Our nido group provides a special prepared space, perfect for nurturing and inspiring the littlest of minds at the beginning of their journey in discovering and adapting to their new world.
